Slow Downloads in Steam
So I'm a tourist from the Philippines visiting Australia. I'm staying at my relative's home, and their wifi is fast. Everything was peachy up until a few days ago, where downloads started to slow from 600 kBps to around 5 kBps to 30 kBps. It was fine, and I didn't think of it much since it lasted for only a few minutes. However, yesterday, the download speed remained like that for the whole day,but I was still pretty much able to download a Dota update. However, right now, it's staying from 0 kBps to 5 kBps, and I can't download anything anymore. I've tried everything (Clicking various buttons, changing Download Regions, Restarting Steam / The Computer. adding -tcp at the end of the target address in Steam properties...) Nothing works...

Any ideas/help?

Fast wi-fi in Australia? Are you sure we are talking about the same country?

Well, faster than in the Philippines, that is... 200 kBps faster.
