How do I upload better quality gifs to my artwork?
Since I started uploading gifs and pictures to my artwork a few months ago I noticed that on my gifs there is almost like a checkerboard on it making it look blurry. ( this is the only way i can describe it ) Maybe its just because of the file size or just how fast they move?

here is a link to my artwork page, if anyone knows anyway I can get better quality gifs please let me know.

That's dithering. GIFs have never been great for video material, the GIF format uses a very limited palette. You'd be better off uploading GIFs with content the format was designed for, not video material. Which, I might add, isn't your artwork anyway. Upload that stuff as videos, not artwork.

So when I upload artwork, use png and jpeg instead of gifs?

JPEG is the format designed for photo-esque images so yes, you might wanna use that.

Sorry to keep asking questions but by any chance would you know how to convert a gif video into a jpeg video without using any programs that you have to pay for?

There's no such thing as a JEPG video. Use MP4 video instead. As for converting those dithered GIFs, do you really want that? If you want to keep them differed, you don't need to do anything at all.

Oh, I was just trying to make my artwork videos high quality and not dithered, it says that i can only use gif, jpeg and png I cant use mp4 videos, or is it I can only use gifs for videos?

Don't think of "artwork videos", think of just "videos". Upload your videos to the video section.

I know about the video section but you cant put the videos on showcase, also I think its too long of a process to upload it to youtube also the gifs/artwork I upload are only around 5 seconds long.

Theres no remedy except not using the GIF format for what it sucks for. Without that compression, the file gets pretty huge so it has to he compressed.

Well, you could see if precompressimg the GIF yourself might hell. Before you upload it. Then you can pick a tool that compresses less ugly.

So if you want better quality gifs make sure you use as little colors as you can since gifs can only support upto 256 colors in a color table. Also keep in mind that gifs while they are a nice option for making video that repeat overtime, they've never been known for producing high quality images...Also wanted to point out that for a Artwork you need your files to be upto 8mb or so in size so make sure that you either make your video 30 fps,or reduce the quality of it.
