[solved] cannot find the uninstall .exe

i need to uninstall steam because its broken but i cannot find the uninstal.exe file. i already try to do it from the control panel but it doesn't work.

Delete the sub folders until you reach the folder that's keeping you from doing that. Then give me the error message.

I figured out how to get the uninstaller. (I extracted the uninstaller from the steam installer) but I still can't delete the remaining folders.

You need permission to perform this action
You require permission from Administrators to make changes to this folder

It's the bin folder

Restart your pc and log in as normal user and try to drag it into recycle bin. If that doesn't work keep deleting items inside till you find the one that's causing all the problems.

Sorry for late reply I was having lunch.
I fixed the problem by booting into safe mode and deleting the folder. Thanks for the help everyone

I had the same problem. The easiest solution is to run the steamsetup (the installing setup).
In that process, the uninstall.exe gets installed and u can delete steam afterwards.

I just faced the same problem.

-> Now go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\ and run the uninstall.exe -> Done
