Switch Pro Controller and Borderlands Two

Ahoi Steam folks


I'm going to start this thread with a lot of cringe. I want to play Borderlands 2 on my Mac with a Nintendo Switch pro controller (bluetooth). I know I should get a PC and play with mouse and keyboard, ok.

Anyway, the controller works fine on games like Bioshock. However, on Borderlands 2, the right analog stick doesn't work. I haven't found anything on that matter on Google or searching through Steam's options. Would anyone have an answer to my problem ?

Hi

One work around that has worked for me to fix my switch pro controller is
-Go to Manage Game (for the game you want to fix)
-Go to Controller Options
-Unselect "Use steam configuration for non steam controller"
-Click ok
-Then go back to controller options
-Select "Use steam configuration for non steam controller"
-click ok
Your switch pro controller should work fine after this (don't know why it works but it has for me)
This fixed my right stick issue in Lego Worlds, and allowed me to use my dpad in other games
