Delaying a timed Steam gift

I've sent a friend a gift that is supposed to arrive in an hour, I'd prefer if I could delay it by a day, is that possible?

Not that i know of; Once it's set to a delay it's permanently at that delay

there is supposed to be an option on the gift in the inventory. i have yet to see it and am constantly contacting support to have the date changed.

its annoying.

You used to be able to change the date by clicking on the gifted game in your Steam inventory, but they don't go into the inventory anymore, so you probably can't do this now.

it is listed in your inventory as a gift waiting to be sent. so yes, in a way it is in your inventory.
