ok so my question is i recently removed my credit card from steam to save money after the sale and now it says "You have no payment methods associated with this account." now does that mean i loose my secruity? because if i were to recover my account for example it asks to verify my credit card but since i removed it i loose account secruity?

Steam will know every single payment method you used. Every credit/debit card and/or paypal. Though they will normally ask for the last credit/debit card you used.

I noticed but what I said still stands. Removing a payment method will not affect you security or account recovery. Payment methods will be saved and linked to your purchases. It's just not saved on the system for future purchases.

Personally I never save it just incase my account is ever compromised so that a hacker cannot use it to make purchases using my saved payment details. It's unlikely, I have a strong password, Steam Guard and keep my system clean but it's a remote possibility.

ok. well i removed my card to save money. so thats good to know because since ive spent alot of money on steam valve uses my cc and my email as secruity messurements for my steam account if id had to recover it which i wont but i always take things as a precaution
