Preservation on spore.

Dear Steam Support Administration.
Many years ago, i bought "SPORE" on Origin. But now i have SPORE in steam, i wanna use my saved game in steam, but how i can do this?
And next question. If i transfer my saved game to steam, VAC don`t block me? Or something else :O

vac will not ban you for moving saves and you wont get in trouble for doing so (also this isnt support and none of us are admins)

Nothing bad will happen and the Steam version should automatically find your savegame. Developers tend to use only one save location for their game, no matter where it's sold.

Spore does not even use VAC. First, it's a Singleplayer game. VAC only protects multiplayer. Second, EA does not use VAC in any of their games.

As Alexalmighty502 said, there's no issue. It's not like Spore even uses VAC, and save games aren't cheat signatures.

Pretty sure Origin and Steam -versions of the game use the same save game data location though? http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Spore#Save_game_data_location

%APPDATA%\Spore\Games
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Spore Creations

Basically, C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Spore\Games and C:\Users\%username%\Documents\My Spore Creations\

I'm going to reinstall windows, and therefore my "saves" will be deleted of this PC :(
I just wanna copy it and use on steam in my next game session :D

Well, hold down [Windows] and [R] -keys. Type in %appdata% and press [Enter]

Copy that Spore -folder on some USB stick.

Then hold down [Windows] and [R] -keys again, type in %userprofile%, press [Enter], open up Documents. Copy the "My Spore Creations" on USB stick.

Then place them in the corresponding locations after Windows reinstallation.
