using my visa gift card

so, i have tried to use my $100 visa gift card got some cs go tings and then it banned me from marketplace. What should do? by the way i have already paid like over $100 on this account so i cant switch

Sounds like you just got the 5-day market wait because you were unable to verify your credit card, which is common with gift cards. Just wait it out.

Weird my Visa gift card can be used like a standard credit card and you can verify it. Maybe look into the reloadable types.

This can be done if you register the card on the card's website and create an address association which you can then use to verify the card on Steam. Not all cards allow you to do this.

I see here in Aus this is becoming more common, the discardable gift card type get flagged as credit scams too much..

I got done similar with Marvel Heroes, because i was using multiple Mastercard Gift cards i got flagged as a Credit scammer... These banking people have pretty useless setups tbh..

I had to call the Game support and work it out, i was told i wasn't allowed to use those cards anymore.. moronic..

Yeah, Steam has an issue with using gift cards like those, as they are potentially unsafe. Any cards that look suspiscious and Visa Giftcards and the like are flagged with a market penalty as to prevent quickly flipping it into CSGO/TF2/etc. items and back for profit.
