Steam will not tell you why you are VAC banned. It does not have to be that you cheated. One of several things happened: either your account connected to a VAC secured server with cheats installed (this can also happen if you use a public or shared computer), or you family shared a game with someone who got a VAC ban, or you used the same phone number as someone who received a VAC ban.

Regardless of the circumstances by which the ban was given out, it won't be removed.

Your account connected to a VAC secured server while VAC detected a known cheated running on the PC. There's no video, you don't even need to actively cheat to get banned this way.

If you didn't cheat, someone else used your account to cheat, or you played on a friends or public PC with cheats installed.
