My dota2 wont update, help

While updating it stops and says Steam-error an error occurred while updating Dota 2 (connection timed out), then if i retry it starts updating again without progress and stops again in a while.

I appreciate any help, i tried to load another game and it also wont update and launch

Go to Steam -> Settings -> DOWNLOADS + CLOUD tab,
set approximate speed of your internet connection to: Cable/Fibre > 10M,
or any other settings just try them.

Thanks appreciate the help, I tried to change the limit bandwidth and still the same nothing happened. Any other ideas?

Try to change the download region to something near to you. Try several options.

tried taiwan and china, so far no luck, I'm in the Philippines btw

Programs Which May Interfere with Steam
Disable Background Applications
Download issues

Thanks, I havent tried any of it, but somehow it finished updating and just opened now. But I'm sure I will encounter the same problem once there is a new update because so far this is the 5th time I have encountered this problem. Will let you know once I figured the problem thanks Baum!
