How to use Steam formatting!

Hello fellow steam user! I'm here today to show you how to use Steam's inbuilt formatting!

Before I start, if you feel that I've left anything out of the post, or that something in this post is wrong please fell free to comment below telling me!

What is formatting?

In steam there are many tags you can use to make your post look better. This includes the [h1] tag, the [i] tag, and the [b] tag. I will show you how to use each one later in the post.

How do you format?

Formatting is simple on steam, all you have to do is place a tag before the section of text you would like to format then place the same tag at the end but a / before the text in the square bracket as seen below.

[b]Hello World![/b]

Hello World!

The above text would make the text bold, and the below text would make the text italic.

[i]Hello World![/i]

Hello World!

The [h1] tag.

The [h1] tag can be used to split your post up, it's mainly used as a title tag. This tag also works well with the [b] tag that I will talk about later on!

Example:

[h1]Heading:[/h1]

Heading:

The [b] tag.

The [b] tag is used to make your text bold, you can use this to pin keywords.

Example:

Please do [b]NOT[/b] touch this.

Please do NOT touch this.

The [i] tag.

The [i] tag is used to make your text italic, this can be the same way as [b] can be used!

Example:

I [i]like[/i] it.

I like it.

The [u] tag.

The [u] tag is used to make your text italic, this can be the same way as [b] and [i] can be used!
