Marking a tag as "not interested"
I'm not interested in VR games, don't own a headset and don't intend to, yet no matter how many times I mark these games as "not interested" (As a last resort I went through 15 pages of VR games just to mark them, didn't help) Steam still instist on shoving several of these into each discovery que. Is there a way to mark an entire tag as "not interested" so that these games will stop popping up, and I can actually "discover" games more in line with my interests?

Not interested only prevents that specific game from showing up in certain areas of the site, it won't block similar games from showing up. You can set up to 12 tags not to be shown in your discovery queue by clicking "Customize your queue" above the "Next in Queue" button. You can also remove virtual reality content from most areas of the site on this page:

There's somewhere in steam settings to disable VR games showing up
