I sent a gift and receiver doesn't see it. [solved]

PROBLEM SOLVED[/u]
At the time of post 9 hours had passed since I sent the gift. It got to him sometimes after that. I"m not sure when but I checked again 13 hours after I sent him the game. Guess one must be very very patient.

Game: Final Fantasy A Realm Reborn
When: Around midnight Jan 5th.

What happened:
I added him to my friends list on steam. We're in the same room so no mistaking I friended the right person. I then go to the game's page and add it to my cart and elect to gift it to him direct through steam. I've done it for my brother before for this very game in 2015 and it was very direct and simple.

What's wrong:
The gift isn't showing up in his window like it should.

Troubleshooting attempts:
1. Read Steam support suggestions from the main client.
- I can't refund the gift if it's NOT showing up on his screen AT ALL
2. Google the problem. I found nothing similar.
3. Restart the computer
4. Check gift history for myself and for him. Game doesn't exist at all in our history.
5. Check my bank statements

I apologize. The original was form 4 hours ago and I didn't think I'd be seen considering how far down this post traveled. I'm gonna go hunt that rulebook. main forum page?

Thanks, I did manage to find it on my own just before you sent it and I wish it were in a more obvious place...maybe I just getting old. This isn't set up like traditional forums.
