My computer keeps minimizing / unselecting my games when they are in full screen.
I have a Toshiba Satellite C55-A5172 running on windows 8.1
When I am playing a game in fullscreen mode my game doesn't exactly minimize but it disappears, like something unselected it. And when it isn't in fullscreen mode it keeps on being unselected, the same thing even happens with any of my web browsers. The blue bar at the top of the window will flash to gray (which means it's unselected) then I need to click the screen to reselect it. Does anyone have any Idea what might be happening? I've tried opening event view but I have no idea how to use it.

oh nvm

are you sure there is no programs running on background that forces unselect your games?
I don't know. I sometimes have programs running in the background like "Discord for team chating"and"Evolve for online LAN servers" but the same problem still happens even when I close them. I opend up "Windows event viewer" but I don't know how to use it nor do I know what I am looking for.

tp-link is a device manufacturer (3G/4G/LTE/wifi router, repeater)

check if you have latest gpu driver for your laptop.
check if laptop meets minimum requirements for the game.
check if there are background processes that interfere with your gaming experience.

I agree with both members that you have some application that is running that is taking desktop focus away from the game. You need to figure out what that app is.
"rotNdude" But how do I figure that out?

You close any programs running on the task bar that may cause it
You turn off any AV you have that may cause it

You check the Process list for possible suspects, or you take a screen shot of your running processes and we may be able to tell you what could be causing it.

etc etc
Would anything go wrong if I tryed to close all background process and Windows process?

You need to be SPECIFIC
You cant close them all anyway as some of them are windows processes

as i said, just take a screen shot of the process window and we can tell you what to close
Ok, but where do I upload my screen shots?
