Steam Inventory Helper: Is it legit? Are there better alternatives?

I just recently became aware of Enhanced Steam, which is pretty cool, and since learning about that I googled around to see if there were any other Steam extentions worth using. Thats how I came accross Steam Inventory Helper.

Basically, Steam Inventory Helper is supposed to make trading and marketing things on steam a lot easier, and it honestly seems very useful. However, I read multiple comments about it saying that it may or may not be bannable? What's that all about?

Is it legit, or is it against Steams ToS somehow? Should I be concerned about giving it a shot?

Aside from that, I'm just curious what other utilities you guys would recommend to use. If Steam Inventory Helper is legit, that is great, but if it isn't, what would be an alternative to it?

Steam Inventory Helper was once great. the creator then sold it to one of those CS:GO gambing sites and they filled the plugin with all sorts of nasty crap.

Either use the older versions of SIH, or get Enhanced Steam which is awesome.

None of the plugins violate Steam rules in any way.

I unfortuantely downloaded Steam Inventory Helper and ran it for like 5 minutes before I noticed the first comments saying it was bannable and that I shouldn't use it. Should I be worried? What exactly is this nasty crap that they put lol.

Also, does enhanced steam do what SIH does or something?

SIH has features that breaks the TOS, which is automating market transactions.
so if your objective is to automate market stuff then i would recommend you not to do it.
