using a controller on pc
hello i recently bought a bigben(brand) controller for my pc(windows 10) when i connect my controller to my pc and i open device manager i see usb gamepad. But i cant use the controller in a game.
I installed scp toolkit and it wont work. when I installed scp toolkit and I installed the driver for the usb gamepad my controller start vibrating and it continues with vibrating.When i open a game(gtaV) it wont work, however after the installation i went to device manager and I saw next to my usb gamepad i saw a new 'device" xbox 360!!!

Playstation controllers do not natively work on windows, you need to get a controller with Xinput, one made for xbox or PC, not playstation.

be warned it'll have input lag though, that's one of the big reasons steam controller was made, to get rid of the input lag and allow usage in any game without external software like xpadder.

Right; but OP is using a ps controller, also, if you can avoid it, you really shouldn't use things like that unless you're not playing twitch response games, since they do add noticeable input delay.
