Play steam games with different country friend

Hi so I recently found out that different countries have different prices does that affect anything? Like can I play with my friends from another country. Cuz I bought the game so much cheaper than my friends

You can play with friends from anywhere providing you both bought Steam copies.

depends on the game really, games like first person shooters will be unplayable if your geographic distance is too far away, and games like dota, really, you can only play turn based if you're far away.
