there are three things
On the other hand, if you don't have the game that they have --- then you can play their game with their DLC if they have any.
And also if both have the same game can you choose which one to play?
Friend 2 shares with me , i do not see his games .
Friend 1 owns total war warhammer without dlc.
Friend 2 owns total war warhammer with all the dlc .
He even showed me his screen proving that all his games are shared .
Yet i do not see any of his games,
let alone being able to switch between playing friend 1s copy and Friend 2s.
The short answer is both their libraries should be visible, but if both people own a game you will share the game from the first person you started sharing with.
Also i do not know why i do not see Friend 2s games.
He showed the screen in settings family with my pc checked,
his pc at his house when running my steam account showed the same as on my home pc ;
the same game shared by friend 1, and no games from him, friend 2.
