Profile background needs to be cropped

I recently bought a really cool Vampire Smile background, but when I applied the wallpaper it was way too big and most of the image isnt even visible. I checked my profile on my phone and the background was just fine, anything i can do to fix it on my PC? thanks

no. they are static sizes. not all are 1920x1080.

All Steam background images are 1920x1080. There is no way to resize them.
