My Alienware Aurora R5 is not running games that fast
Yes, I know some people are gonna say that Alienware isn't worth it, but I got this for my birthday and I didn't even know... anyways, my Alienware Aurora is not running all my games fast enough. I tried skyrim, fallout new vegas, and some other games. They were dropping frames like crazy. Please, I need help. Did I set it up wrong?

What is the actual specs. Apparently the R5 has a range of configurations. From an i3 with a GTX 950 to much better specs.
I am too lazy to find it (I am not a PC expert) so I am just gonna paste what I think are PC specs :P

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz, 3600 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)

Adapter Description NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070

Adapter RAM (1,048,576) bytes

Adapter Description Intel(R) HD Graphics 630

Ensure you are running the games with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 not the Intel(R) HD Graphics 630.

Goto the NVIDIA Control Panel, then Manage 3D Settings, then either set the Global Settings to use the NVIDIA or Program Settings find the program in question and set it explicity to the NVIDIA chip.

huh so nvidia control panel won't open, it says "You are not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU" I don't know this stuff ;-;
Sounds like you either don't have the graphics card plugged into the correct display or have a driver issue.
I will try to fix the problem.
This would definitely be a display issue knowing its very common. Simply unplug the the cable connected to the display device and plug it into the discreet gpu that is connected to the motherboard.
I have fixed it! Thank you ,guys :D

One more question, when I go to global setting I see a bunch a stuff, where do I go to switch it to NVIDIA?
Nevermind xD fixed it again
