Anyway to recover a deleted game?

A few months ago I was pretty frustrated with csgo, and that day I permanently deleted csgo without thinking, i.e. it's not in my library anymore. Is there any method of recovery to get the game back without having to buy it again? I want to get back into the community, now I regret that dumb move I made.

The same place where you deleted it you can undelete it. As the feature is just a good hide feature and not a delete feature.

Yeah, Valve has some pretty strange definition on what permanent removal means.

I guess Valve just follow the community. The community has a pretty dumb definition on what "permanent removal" means so Valve had to adopt that definition as well to please the community.

Had it been named anything else people would whine that they could not permanently delete stuff from their library. Even if it did the same thing.

In case some of you didn't know what I meant, I went to the top of the client and clicked Help>Steam support, clicked on csgo, and I clicked "I want to permanently remove this game from my steam account."

I don't think I can get much help with some case like this, I guess I got to earn my rank, achievements and hours all over again... *sigh*

No, you don't. Just repeat those steps to restore the game.

Go to help-> steam support, click on "I'm missing game/title" (might be under games/software), click csgo, restore.
