I'd like to have my Steam games in their own subfolders.
Oh, hey! The title pretty much says it all. I used to have all my Steam games in their own sub-folders under the parent folder Games\Steam, and this I kept on the D: drive. So Hitmam, for example, had the installation path D:\Games\Steam\Hitman, and Tomb Raider D:\Games\Steam\Tomb Raider, so on and so forth. I did all this by going to the Steam Library Folder in Settings and adding the subfolders to Library Folder list (I think).

Then I did a major overhaul of my system--new hardware a fresh OS. I am back to reinstalling the games. But I can't seem to add any subfolders to the Library Folder list after the first one. Keeps giving me the message: "Selected drive already has a Steam Library folder. Steam will manage multiple game installs in a single folder for you." Could you tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks!

steam should make these subfolders itself?.... emm...
when you install a game it should automatically go to it's own subfolder. You shouldn't have to manually make each one?????

Steam makes all those sub-folder for you so its' unnecsessary to 'make' new folders for each gam

Oh! Now I feel stupid. LOL. So all I have to do is make D:\Games\Steam a Library folder?

Yeah, lol. I'm not a big gamer, obviously. ;)

i would like sub folders. I have like 25 categories which get quite crowded.
Then there's also games which have part 1-5 which would be nice to just all put into 1 sub-folder.
It would help me organise my mess of a library.

1. Move Steam to your D drive, so the games you want on D and Steam on D will be in the same drive
2. Use Steam to manage games, don't care too much about folders

In that case, my #2 at least addressed that.
