Remove unowned games

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help, my friend got Elder Scrolls Online to avoid downloading the 68+GB game, we copied my steam file to his computer, deteled the games he does'nt have and logged in using his account, but now all of my games show up on his steam library and is displayed as "Installed" the actual game files are gone but it wont remove the game from steam, how can I fix this ? I dont know if he can play the games he doesnt have, although I doubt that he can.

You probably left the appmanifest files in, while you left the folders out.

-- steamapps\appmanifest_xx.acf

ESO would be

appmanifest_306130.acf

No. Steam would just assume they're installed, while they're not.

Besides, even then they'd have [Buy] unless you were to share said games to him via Steam Family Sharing (or he were to buy them)

should i delete the manifest file so that steam can recreate it ?

You should delete the "unwanted games" appmanifest -files. Meaning, if you moved your whole installation. Just remove all the appmanifest files except the 306130

If you delete ESO's appmanifest, all it does is make Steam assume it's uninstalled.
