Using xbox 360 controller btw.
found a solution i deleted controller_base. config, appcache in the main stem folder and then depotcache which was under steam or steamapps?? but one of those worked.
I did log off and logged in with different accounts. Perhaps that solved it?
1. Open steam in big picture. Click the controller next to minimize
2. Go to settings in the top right. The gear
3. Base configuration
4. Desktop configuration
5. Browse configs
6. Templates
7. Gamepad with camera controls
I hope this helps someone. It worked for me trying to play GTA V.
I had this problem, logged off and logged in with different account then logged back into main and it fixed it. -Thanks
