Public opening of CSGO cases as a guarantee of "fair play"
Fair play in skins drop. Counter Strike: Global Offensive

Youtubers and their videos of CSGO case openings take on the role of “arbiters” of the market. In such way, they are controlling the honesty of case opening services offering to buy cases with CSGO skins.

I propose to pay attention to the phenomenon that fulfills the form of public control in the field of opening of CSGO cases, namely, the public opening of cases in Youtube. These guys are real "arbiters" of the market: it is thanks to them, often, sites of case opening please us with great skins.

Many people have turned the opening of CSGO cases into their work. They are on the front line of CSGO case opening processes: they are following Valve’s updates, studying changes in the range and prices of sites with CSGO cases, testing new cases and being constantly in a trend.

Some people went further: they create a show from the opening of cases, prepare exciting videos showing the spins on various sites. These people create their own YouTube channels and other communication tools, where they are publishing their spins. Thus, these streamers do not just open cases, but form the opinion of consumers about market operators offering CSGO cases for opening.

In this way, Youtubers become arbiters that form the opinion of the public about a particular site {LINK USUNIĘTY}. Especially if this streamer has hundreds of thousands of views. These people play the role of "market arbiters": by forming public opinion about services that allow to open CSGO cases, they fulfill the function of quality control of these services. After all, none of the stores selling CSGO cases does not want to become an object of a video streamer, in which the author of the video within an hour, for example, opened 30 cases and never dropped anything worthwhile. For business, such a reputation would be deadly.

Forced necessity

This situation obliges stores to play fair. After all, at any time, a YouTuber from, for example, Brazil, whose average number of video views is 300,000, can record the opening of cases suggested by any site and make it publicly available for viewing. If every fifth viewer shares the video, the number of views will grow several times and amount to millions of viewers already, and these are global indicators that forming the attitude towards the brand. In addition, if the video is "empty" for cool drops, the case store is unlikely to find new customers. Rather, even lose existing ones.

According to the processed information, at least 200 videos with CSGO case opening on different sites are being published daily in Youtube: these include both openings on steam store and openings on independent sites. 200 videos daily! 200, Carl! Such statistics, with simple calculations, will give a figure of 73,000 videos annually. Upon condition each video receives a modest 10,000 views, there would be 730 million (730 million) views per year.

Obviously, ignoring of such figures would be self-defeating. Assuming that the half of these views are ordered materials with a "dishonest" game, there remains the second half, more than 360 million views per year, and this is 1 million views daily. And even if you look at things completely pessimistic and consider that only a tenth of videos honestly reflects the state of things, then these 73 million (73 million) views can just be the most revealing.

Publicity is, perhaps, the most objective judge of all. Therefore, it is called the fourth power: ignoring these “arbiters” in the politics of doing business, whatever it is, will lead if not to a collapse of business, then certainly to the problems and the decline in sales. In addition, perhaps, that is why independent stores that have been operating on the market for a long time and have thousands of case openings daily can be considered to be audited by publicly.
