Is steam cloud enabled automatically?
Is steam cloud enabled automiatically or do I need to enable it?

By default Steam cloud is enabled for all games that support it.

It's not supported by every game on steam, check if it supports it first.
Some games use it differently, for example civilization 5 has a special save location in the game for cloud saves. all other saves are not cloud synced with that game, unless they changed it.
