Steam Overlay Notifcation - Suddenly changed to Top Left?

All of a sudden the steam overlay notification shows in the Top Left, does anyone have any idea how to resolve this? I don't use a steam skin, just using default. I recently played CS:GO and noticed the top left notification, but CS:GO has a option to change it, but that doesn't help for other games...

I'm use to the bottom right position and would like to get it back there. Using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.

Didn't think to try since I assumed it was global.

Seems other games are fine, from testing a quick few. (Rise of The Tomb Raider, Audiosurf 2, Melody's Escape).

So, I guess it's just Bejeweled 3 so far for me. Why would that be though? The game shouldn't be messing with the overlay...

Bottom right corner is the default but some devs move it to other corners as they please. So this is basically a game specific.

They seriously just disregard the player's personal preference?

for cs:go, yes. this was intentional.
