Steam : failed to activate my paysafecard code

Hey guys , about 10 min. ago , i bought 5 euro paysafecard . I just came to my house and tryed a few of times to activate the PIN ( 16 numbers ) . I typed them in the correct way . Yet nothing was added to my steam wallet and now it says i have to wait for 30 min. Does anyone know how can i activate the code ?

in that case, your PSC wasn't properly activated at the register? not sure how these work, do you need to activate them by entering your zip code/whatever it is over there? some cards need registration

No no not at all . The PSC is 16 numbers , which goes 4 - 4 - 4 , and which i did . Still says no succesful redeem

things like this need to be activated at purchase though, do they not? if they don't properly activate, nothing can be done, sometimes they can take up to 3-24 hours to be activated.

Shiki is right though, the code needs to be activatet on the register during checkout. And it's possible that they haven't done that. Apart of that, are you sure you're entering the code correctly? Characters like O and 0 are easy to misread.

In PSC there are no letters though , i tryed to redeem the code about 5 times , ( and now it is probably bugged ) , it asks for me to wait for about 30 min....

That's one of the two potential problems I mentioned. What about the other one?

To say the truth , when i went to buy the psc the girl that was on the register , just scanned the barcode in order to see if its activatable , and that's all she said its all fine
( I dont think she knew very much tho... )

Well, I don't really know what particular steps are needed to activate a retail payment card as I don't use them (PayPal is just so more comfortable), but you may want to go to the store and ask them.

Well, I don't really know what particular steps are needed to activate a retail payment card as I don't use them (PayPal is just so more comfortable), but you may want to go to the store and ask them.

I might actually go tomorrow , cuz here is greece they r closing in about 10 min.

you normally don't just scan the barcode... you usually scan it through the part of the register where you normally put credit cards and what not . it sounds like they just scanned it and input a value, but I don't know if PSC are different from other activatable cards.

Well they r , cuz the only thing u do is just place an activatable barcode...

Is there any contact link or number on the back of your paysafecard? You might be able to confirm online if it's activated and ready to be used.
