Steam.exe - Bad Image
does anybody know how to fix this problem? it recommends me to re-install steam again however others with the same problem have said that this doesn't work. I've installed a new GameManager32.dll as apparently my one is "not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error". i also tried scannow on command promt. hadn't seemed to have worked. the same thing is happening with another one of my programs where i close the error message but it instantly re-opens. what should i do?

Your avatar displays just fine right now.
If you have image displaying issues withing Steam Client, wipe the temp internet cache from here:

AppData\Local\Steam

Just wipe steam and let it download it fresh again. What I often refer to as the easier steam repair method... which goes like this...

Go to where steam client is installed (make sure steam.exe is no longer running)

Then delete everything in the steam folder, except for the following...

Steam.exe ( application )
DepotCache ( folder )
SteamApps ( folder )
UserData ( folder )

The rest of the files and folders in the steam folder should be gone, now right click steam.exe and click Run As Admin.

Make a desktop shortcut for steam.exe and always rub it via that run as admin option. Do not put game clients in OS startup.

Once steam client has redownload and launched, double check the steam client settings and make whatever changes may be needed for you. Then restart steam.
