Steam is super slow for UK.

Valve only has two servers for UK-London and Manchester. The last couple of weeks they have being super slow. How increase in servers maybe to four.

One in scotland and one in Leeds would be nice.

You can change download regions to try to get faster download speed

They're not two servers, they're two download regions. You can actually ask Steam for a list of download servers: http://cs.steampowered.com/serverlist/4/50/

There we asked for 50 servers near cell 4, which is the UK London region. I count 20+ servers directly in cell 4, and then there's some in the list from nearby regions, like cell 15, the Netherlands.

Its not steam its your network speed i live in the uk and use londons server and download anything within 10 mins

I haven't had significant problems although "Depth" has been uncharacteristically laggy recently. Difficult to tell what's down to Steam, what's down to broadband, and what is down to third party issues in multiplayers.
