How can I get the historical data of Steam?

Hello everyone, I am writing a paper.For that I would like to know ,is there any way to get Steam's historical data?Such as how many games it sold out?how many users it has and maybe how much money can valve got from Steam?

Valve is a privately owned company and none of that data is publicly available. All you'll find is guesstimates and milestone announcements.

The data you/Danilwon are referring to does not show how many games they sold, it does not show how many users they have (just how many are logged in right now), and it doesn't show how much money they made. So none of your initial three questions are answered.
