How to utterly and completely disable (destroy) Steam Controller Support!
I was recently playing am Early Access game which had very limited controller support. Thinking it would be a good idea i decided to try out steam controller support which i admittedly spent a little time trying to use as i just needed to add a few functional binding to play at a basic level with my Xbox 1 controller. Now These customizations are stuck on no matter what i do, from the desktop to other games, and etc. This is a nightmare as steam's heavy hand completely destroys games with official but unofficial controller support like SMITE. I've looked around the internet and have found no way as this seems to be an on-going problem with steam for the last few years. I believe there use to be a way to disable this feature per game, but i believe that was only related to non-steam games being played and the fact that this has to be done in big picture mode is absolutely ridiculous. I just need someone to help me find what ever i need to find and do and etc to as the title says disable this feature at least for specific games if until they make this feature something worth using or even trying out without being sucked into some stupid setting that doesn't even have an on and off switch.

In Big Picture Mode (left-click the controller icon in the top-right corner of the Steam client), look for the gear icon in the top-right corner and click that. In the settings menu, click "Controller Settings". Remove the tick from any boxes here (you can leave "Guide Button Focuses Steam" and "Turn off on Big Picture Exit" alone if you want.)

Alright,:steamhappy: i've tested this out and this indeed fix my problem! Thank you, i believe my problem when i tried this before was that after i disconnected my controller, i'd reconnect it back before i exited Big Picture Mode.
