If i cheat on FaceIT and get banned do i get VAC ban?

FaceIT is not a game, but a web site. You get a VAC ban if you cheat in a game which uses Valve Anti-Cheat. regardless of whether you use FaceIT.

How do i know if it uses Valve Anti-Cheat

On the store page of each game it states whether the game is:
Valve Anti-Cheat enabled

The store page will tell you on the right-hand side. Also, at least in Team Fortress 2, when connecting to servers there will be a shield icon with "VAC" written on it, and a message saying the server is protected by VAC.

Almost all of FaceITs games support VAC. The ones that don't (League of Legends, and Overwatch) have their own anti-cheats and equally strict policies on cheating.

Look at the sever you're playing on in the server browser. It will tell you if the server uses VAC.
