can you trade on steam with the email confirmation?

so you can trade with the mobile confirmation but what if you dont have mobile, can you use the email confirmation instead for trades ect

Depends. If you're friends with someone for a year then one day. Otherwise I believe it's 15 days.

Too many people were still having their items hijacked with email confirmation. So now if you want to trade instantly, you need to confirm with the authenticator instead of email.
