4 USD in steam wallet
buy 5 USD game
payment: select credit card
steam uses 4 USD steam wallet credit and takes 1 USD from credit card...
but i selected credit card for payment method...
it shouldnt use any steam wallet credit...
I don't know why Valve is doing that.
so its NOT always using it as the default payment method?
the only setting i can find regarding default payment method is already set to my credit card... but steam STILL uses the steam wallet FIRST...
its really annoying having to remove the steam wallet as the primary payment option every single time in checkout when i buy something... :/
For store purchases, wallet is the default method.
When making store purchases, you CAN select a different payment method on the final confirmation screen (i.e. to credit card) to keep all your wallet funds.
why does steam FORCE us to use steam wallet as the default option?
that makes no sense...?
if i find a way ill post here... :/
