As long as it's not currently associated with your account, knowing the email is pointless. Valve does not view an old email address as Proof of Ownership. The handful of recovery options that don't require Proof of Ownership will only go to the currently registered address.

Steam does not use the email alone as proof of ownership requirements

As such someone requesting it from that email doesn't automatically get the account

When ownership of an account is disputed, the person with the oldest/better proof gets the account. Email is only one possible way of proving ownership. Keep your accounts and PC secure and it won't be an issue.

There is no help category for theoretical hijackings. I imagine it would only distract from dealing with actual hijackings. As mentioned above, keep your PC and accounts secure to make sure you never have to find out. Contact your email provider and recover your old email.

If this has happened before then you need to start behaving more responsibly.
