How do I make panorama screenshots for Steam?
Hi. I'm a screenshot enthusiast and i've seen other SEs uploading panarama screenshots which obviously get many ratings because they look great.

How do I do it?

Depends on the game, it's generally recommended to ask such questions in the discussion hub of that particular game.

Hi Cathulhu. I don't think it's good to ask in the discussions because I am not asking a question about the game. I just want to know how to make and upload panoramic photography.

I am assuming you use photoshop or some other application.

I hope I find someone in this thread who can give me a video tutorial or step by step on how to do it.

If it's about general photography and not panoramic screenshots in games, then ask that in Off Topic.

No, I want to take a bunch of photos and learn to stitch then together like this.

For my own panoramas i use either Adobe Lightroom or Photoshops stitching tool.
Make a few photo's like normal while making sure they overlap, then when you open them in lightroom there is a option called photomerge, allowing you to stitch them together automatically.

I upload them by replacing the panorama with the original photo i took, sometimes the preview for it gets blurry though, not sure what causes this.

I have photoshop only. Is there an alternative for lightroom? I just want to learn the most easiest way--that everyone relies on--to make them.

I use lightroom more often but i think the option for photoshop is the exact same. Not at the computer i have it on right now but i think in photoshop it should be under File>Automate>Photomerge. Otherwise i'm gonna have to check when i get home.

The most common tool is ICE (Microsoft: Image composite Editor) as it's a noob friendly tool stripped to the core basics.
Pretty much everyone on steam uses it.
There are much better tools around including PS which do a better job in the stitching process if you ask me.

Google or youtube it. It's rather easy to do though.

Also the example you previously gave is a bad example of a pano & just your typical pano shot you will see every day on steam. Just a tip, use a much lower fov & do not stretch the shot so far.

Hi SilverSun. I tried this. When I put in my pictures, the program said 'failed to allign images'.

P.S: Nice profile. Mine's still being designed by a graphic designer.

Don't bother with stuff like that crap.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/research/product/computational-photography-applications/image-composite-editor/

Use this free software from Microsoft. It's far better although i prefer to use PS as the stitching process alligns the images better. This is the next best thing imho, use it myself from time to time as it's just more efficent to use.

If you have any problems with it, send me a PM and i will help.
