"Error adding friend. Please try again."
Is this Steam's way of saying "This user has blocked you.", or is it a genuine error?
I was unfriended by an user and this message always shows up when I try to friend them.

wait a week before adding them again. this happens when you unfriend (or are unfriended) and try to friend again.
