no steam wallet option

so i redeemed a $20 card
but when i got to buy a game it does not show a option to pay with steam wallet funds :(
iv tried using different browsers,restarting steam and everything
any ideas?

By default, Steam chooses to pay from the wallet. That may be why you are not being asked to select a payment method. Or is Steam asking you to pick a different payment method?

by default it shows paypal for me,i click to see more options and it just shows everything but my steam wallet

few years ago i got a steam code from a friend from london,i was never able to use the money to buy a game for some reason they said something about currency was wrong so i ended up spending it in game somehow xD so im wondering if its from that not sure if that story would help but i was thinking i always had a problem i guess
