2 week wait to trade?!
Hi, I just brought a CSGO key from market to give to a friend and i have to wait 2 weeks? why is this i done this ages ago and i never had to wait?

The waiting time should be 1 week, not two. All newly bought items from the market are not tradeable for 1 week. Has been that way for a year or so by now. Its a security measurement.

Ages ago, fraud wasn't as rampant as it was before the current security measures were introduced.

Thankyou both for the reply, i have just gifted it over and you were correct it was a week. the last time i got something off from the market to pass on was few years back.

Quick question how does this protect me. i have the mobile app i confirm things through?
