Oops, sorry? C'mon.

What is up with the Update News saying "Oops, sorry" when displaying all of the available sales on the Steam Store? I mean, c'mon. Someone's gotta be hiding something from us, right?

I was wondering if any posts to do with this issue didn't exist. But I can confirm out of 5 of 6 I got the "Oops, sorry!" just as I loaded steam.

7 out of 7 "oops" for me today. First time it's been all of them. I've been noticing it for quite a while however, at least 6 months or so. My internet has been fast and stable during that time, so I think that can be ruled out.

Here's how I solved this Problem...Goto Steam/Settings/Downloads then click "clear download cache" button. Hope this helps! :)

Clearing the download cache did not help me. I currently have 4/8 updates being "Oops, sorry", while the other four are for two games each repeated twice. I don't have any other connection issues, even with other parts of Steam.

I've had this issue happen occasionally for a long time, but before the last month or so it was very rare (perhaps only occurring when I was having internet issues). Now I get a least a couple "Oops" errors every time I restart Steam.

Tried this. It's made no difference whatsoever.

4 of them being Oops sorry.
2 of them being exactly same "Operational abyss" ad
2 of them being exactly same "arcane wargame Mirgae" ad

What is new to me are repeating game ads in update news.

Has this been addressed? All 7 of mine actually working today (or 14, since they appear twice for some reason). First time I've had that many all working for many months.
