How do I remove the FPS Counter.
It appears in the top left of my screenshots and it's ruining my screenshots :steamsad:

I deleted FRAPS. I don't know what causes it.

Can someone please help me so my screenshots in future don't cry? Thanks.

That's not Steam's FPS counter. You've got something else overlaying.

I deleted FRAPS. What else can it be?

To me it looks like Fraps, same font, check your registry or hard drive for any leftover folder.
I deleted it from control panel. It's still on my PC?

It's a possibility that the setting you originally used might be.

Yep, check your control panel firstly though to make sure it has been removed properly, if you don't see it, delete the folder.
Okay. Thanks. I hope I don't see it in my games anymore.:neonsmile:

Just tried to open a game. It's still there. I have no idea how to get rid of it. :steamsad:

Are you sure it's not a game setting? I'd now be looking at a possible registry entry but a word of warning, be very careful there as you can stop your PC booting if you make a mistake.
I don't want to touch that. No it shows up in most games. I wouldn't have a problem if taking screenshots didn't include it.

Okay, so I downloaded FRAPS. I now have two sets of FPS counters: https://gyazo.com/bbd30a29375e2248007a23dd1832dbcb

OKAY so I found the problem. I have used an application called overwolf in the past for the game Hearthstone. Turns out that has an FPS option. We found the culprit. Thanks for the help. :steamfacepalm::albedothumbsup::neonsmile:

Nice! Sneaky little program ;)

You take some fantastic screenshots btw!
Thanks! Just starting. Met so many screenshot enthusiasts too. Who knew i'd find a passion other than playing games on Stream.:steamhappy::grwheart:

Just a shame most have the fps counter. Will probably have to delete most. :steamsad:

Nope. Disabling it is enough.

And i'm sure Overwolf has an option to disable the FPS counter which was Reboot was telling you rather briefly.
