HELP!! "For the first launch go in online mode"

I've been on steam for quite some time now and somehow they ALWAYS randomly seem to hit me with some new problem that really pisses me the hell off because they're senseless and unnecessary. When I try to play warhammer all of a sudden it's saying for the first launch go in online mode......... this is by far the first time I launched this game... and I can't go online because I don't have internet. Not much courtesy put into thought with this one. This is frustrating and doesn't make any sense to me, I haven't made any recent downloads or anything it's literally saying this out of the blue for no reason. HELP PLEASE! And no offense to steam but I really really wish I could just play a game I paid for with MY money without the constant interference of some software.

You must have an Internet connection the first time you launch a game that requires Steam, to validate your license for the game.

A check of your profile reveals you have played the game before. If you are using a new PC, the above still applies; each new computer running the game must connect to Steam once to validate the license.

I don't know how well Steam can deal with persistent offline use, but if wants to check something, just wait until you get home and let it do it.

It's the same computer I've always played it on. It just randomly said it the other day.

..yea. The saddest thing is I have read dozens of these.. " community " post. There is almost never an answer or a fix. Just people talking back in forth (a little banter..).. thx
