Windows button not working while in game

Hello everyone, i am currently having a problem when i can use the windows button when csgo is closed or minimized, but when i'm in game, i press it, but it doesn't work. Please someone help me.

I don't know how to solve this but you can use an alternative method if you want to tab out of the game, which is Alt+Tab

Are you in windowed or fullscreen mode and using two monitors?

Start Menu button not working anymore, worked before btw, don#t really understand why it stopped working when it worked before.

Windows has a Gaming Mode option. It prevents the use of the windows key to view the desktop because most of the time when it's pressed by gamer's it was a mistake and gets gamers very frustrated. So windows implemented Gamer Mode option so that gamers won't accidentally get to desktop while playing a game :D You can disable this feature in Windows.

You type "Game mode" into the windows search bar.

I get the confusion, the previous commenter referred to it by a different name that wouldn't yield a search result (which i consider to be a failure of windows, i hate that you have to know exactly what something is called). You can turn it off from there. Sorry that this is like, eight months late, but hopefully someone can still use it.

does turning game mode off in windows have any other effect in game other than the windows key turning off and on?

I turned of Gamemode and Windows Key still not works ingame. Any other tips?

do u have razer synapse software installed on your pc if you do open the Razer Synapse go to keyboard tab once your in the keyboard tab there should be two other tab the CUTOMIZE tab and the LIGHTING tab u should be on CUSTOMIZE tab on the customize tab there should be Gaming Mode setting if that enable u should turn it off. here is the description of the Gaming mode. Gaming Mode disables the Windows Key and/or other common keyboard shortcuts to prevent accidental usage. u may opt to always have it enabled or only enabled when gaming.

i have a so so solution. Turn of your wallpaper engine backround, if you currently use one. That fixed the problem for me.

any fix? None of the ones in the comments (at the time of this comment) have worked for me
