"Input not Supported"
Hello.

So I recently purchased a new PC that is A LOT better then my old one. A lot more powerful.

I got it so I can run newer games such as For Honor and Dark Souls 3. Only issues is now it's saying "Input not Supported".

When I first tried to play Dark Souls for instance, it told me that message with a black screen, similar looking to this: http://arifinbp.my.id/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/Input-Not-Supported.jpg

So I windowed Dark Souls and it let me play. Yay!

But now, I treid to play CS:GO and I got the SAME message. Strangest part is that it never gave me the message before.

I think it might be because I just installed new Drivers through Nvidia Geforce Experiance.

I've poked around the internet and it seems that the brand of monitor I'm using (Acer) is poor quality and cannot support the resolution that my PC is creating. I'm not sure if that's true or if it's a game problem. Any input would be fantastic!

The setting for each game will need to be reset to a vid resolution the monitor supports.

Curious you mention that because I did exactly that. I lowered my PC resolution to start the game and then I made the game 1600x900 (which was the max originally) and then reset my PC display back to 1600x900 and the games run fine now!

Dark Souls 3 still doesn't run full screen but hey, at least 99% of my games work now!

I'm currently right now searching for a new monitor that will support it by default. I know absolutely nothing about Monitors or stuff like display but I'm sure i'll figure something out!

if you enable gpu scaling it should run any resolution and output max res to your monitor
