No audio in games with headphones
I can't hear anything in my games while I have my headphones on, but when I unplug my headphones I can hear. It only happens to games on steam though, I can hear youtube just fine. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Does this happen to all games or just some in specific?

Right click on headphone icon on Windows toolbar. Tick the box 'Headset earphone'' in Playback devices.

I did that but there isn't any "headset earphones" in playback devices. HeadPhone/Digital Output is my default device

FIrst open the game. If you're in windows open the little microphone icon and click Mixer or something like that and see if you didn't accidently mute the application or if the sound isn't too low.

If you're in mac then idk...

I am on windows and tried that but no matter what I do in the mixer nothing changes

I'm sure you already tried in-game options, so try to search for the game forums, in this case Borderlands Forums and Rogueland Forums and maybe post a thread asking about this and the creaters or someone else might help you.

I sadly never played Rogueland and I only played Borderlands 2 on console so I don't know really how to fix this.

Hopefully you find how to fix it GL!

That's weird. It actually sounds to me like some other software is taking control of the audio, or there is some in game or steam option that has been selected that is interfering. If you go through those options and don't see anything I'd definitely go through all the standard steps.

Reboot.
Make sure all unnecessary programs are off. No iTunes, no Pandora/Spotify, etc. I'd also make sure unnecessary programs don't auto start when you reboot.
Check the sound. If no go...
Reboot.
Check the sound. If no go...
Install newest drivers for sound AND video card.
Reboot.
Check the sound. If no go, I'd probably check the bios version for updates and motherboard drivers as well.
At that point you've eliminated most of the potential issues and you can circle back around to the options in game or Steam or audio configuration.
I know it can be ultra frustrating. Just take it slow and be methodical.
