Moving steam to new hard drive.
I am getting anot her hard drive. I want it for games only. So I have windows 10 and everything on c: drive. When I add the new hard drive. What all do I need to do to move steam to it. And have it and all my games run from there. Without having to redownload all the games.

You don't have to move Steam. Just create a library on the new HDD, and then you can install new games there and move your existing ones if you want.

Steam > Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders > Add library folder.

Right-click a game in your library > properties > local files > move install folder.

You don't need to move steam, you can move all the games if you want though.
Actually some games get weird when you move them off C or install them on another drive. Best to keep steam on C. Can still have all games on another drive.

First add a new library folder on the new drive.
Then right click a game then Properties>Local Files>Move Install folder.

Or instead of the last step, exit steam and move the contents of the steamapps folder in steam to the new steamapps folder on the new drive.
