Steam and torrent download speed capped at 1.2MB/s on new PC. Even tho, internet speed on other PC's is over 100MBPS|10MB/s
OS: Windows 10.
I've tried turning off updates, reconnecting cable, VPN, updating ethernet drivers and more steps.
My pc is 1 day old. On new pc, even the speedtest shows 10mbps|1MB/s, when old pc goes full 100mbps/10MB/s. Any help guys?

First of all, get rid of the VPN. Second, what's your actual internet connection? 100 MB/s is unrealistically high, to say the least. Also, make up your mind, is it mbps or MB/s, those two differ by a factor of 8.

I uninstalled VPN already after I've tried it if it realy works and that's what I'm saying, my normal internet speed is 100mbps which is 10MB/s download speed. Only on this pc it's 10mbps and 1MB/s download speed.

My ethernet cable is Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller if that means something.

Have you done a speed test from that PC? Could the NIC be faulty? Dropping packets, etc.

Yes, I've done speed test on my new PC. And the results are terrible compared to the old ones when it easily reached 90+. http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/6143405269
You do have the right drivers? What's your Duplex set as?

Yes, I do have the right drivers, I don't really know what Duplex means but as much as I know it's a max allowed internet speed on pc or something like that so it's set to 10mbps http://i.imgur.com/WG7agRR.png

Well, that means your speed it limited to 10Mbps.

Go here:

"Networking and sharing Center> Change adapter settings> [double click]*the connection you want to use*>Properties> configure> [click advanced tab]> *in the scroll menu choose "speed and duplex"."

What does this say? Auto? If it says 10mbps change it to Auto.

It said auto on the beginning, but I've changed it to Full 1gbps and nothing really changed.

Change it back to Auto or you will probably have more issues.

Are you using the same ethernet cable as the other pcs used? Same port on the moderm, router?

Yes yes yes, everything is the same, router and cable. Everything except PC.

I'm not smart enough to know and don't know enough. Since you are using all the same stuff and changing the Duplex probably won't change anything other then probably cause issues. You could set it to full 100Mbps just to test it out. I don't think software could cause this other then the drivers.

I don't know enough to say what it would be, could be the NIC though. Heard it's rare they are faulty though.

I saw online turning your computer off for 3 minutes fixed it for a lot of people who had the same problem.
