Free running (2007) launching problems on windows 8

Then contact the developer or ask in their own forums if available. Your issue clearly has nothing to do with Steam.

That's like going into an Applestore and asking them about a problem with a Samsung phone.

I actually did that once. I went into an Apple Store, and walked up to a "Genius", looked at him with the most concerned look of a desparate man looking for answers, ever, and simply asked. "Why is my Samsung phone so much better than your phones?"

Then I just walked out.
