Can't login to client

That is simply it , I can't log into the client. I can post here and access account details , I can even BUY GAMES that i won't be able play because I cannot log into the ''launcher'' , so I can't play any games. It says my login info is wrong even tho I enter the exact same info as I did for this here.

I was online 12 hours ago but upon trying to launch a game today Steam decided to spam me the rare and dreaded ''enter password''. Happens less than once a year so I always forget the password. Went and resetted it via my account's email. New password won't work.

If anyone has any ideas/solutions I'd appreciate it. Changed passwords several times already and been searching for way to contact steam for hours but all I learned is that you can't call them and I'm still not able to even find a way to email or ticket them. A useless self help guide is all I can find.

Guys, no need to spam like low class idiots.

Anyway to the OP, go to your steam folder in your file explorer, and make a copy of the ClientRegistry.blob file, and place it in a secure folder as a backup (just in case). Make sure to delete it from the Steam folder if it is still there. Next, relaunch Steam, and it will reacquire the file. Sometimes that file gets corrupted, and it leads to issues (sometimes with logging in). Give it a shot!

Also, make sure your Steamguard is turned on.
